While most of us lock our doors and have an active alarm on our cars, Tesla Sentry Mode takes it to an entirely different level. Sentry Mode uses the car’s censors and cameras to detect potential threats. As a person approaches the car, the system is activated by the sensors. The cameras then begin to record and the touch screen displays a message the the person is being recorded. This works as a deterrent to anyone thinking about breaking into the car.
The system also helps with liability should someone crash into your parked car. You can easily review the footage to see how the accident happen. Hopefully catching the culprits license plate as well!
